Usually China or some other Asian nation who has an economy based on production and savings, instead of borrowing and consumption like us.
The reason this country is in such dire economic condition is we forgot about the hard work, the sweat, the values of our parents and grandparents-hard work, savings, supporting our neighbors and investment in American excellence. Buying local is one small step we call can take to reverse this trend. Thoughtful Harvest seeks to make buying local and supporting American farms, artisans and grower co’ps more then words. We are doing it. We are spending more money, more time and more efforts to make products that embody the values that are disappearing fast.
We could double our profits by buying foreign ingredients. Most food products have foreign grown ingredients like garlic from China, onions from Peru etc. What if we supported our local farms and farm families? What would our economy look like? I submit it would be better.
